on 11 July 2025 at 6:30 a.m., His Majesty the King graciously commanded that monks be invited to receive alms bestowed by royal offering on the occasion of the Buddhist Lent Festival (Khao Phansa) for the year 2568 B.E.

On this occasion, Somdet Phra Maha Thirachan, Abbot of Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan (Wat Pho), assigned Phra Thep Vajirasophon, Assistant Abbot of Wat Phra Chetuphon, to lead a group of 10 monks—including senior ecclesiastical monks, Pali scholars, and temple officials—from Wat Phra Chetuphon to receive the royal alms at Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram (the Temple of the Emerald Buddha) within the Grand Palace.
